OVERVIEW
The Master’s Degree Program in e-Business Management creates a new professional, the “e-Business Engineer”, who is able to identify, project and develop new e-Business solutions that adapt to the ever-changing “Digital Economy”. The International Master’s Degree in e-Business Management (IMeBM) program is positioned at the intersection between technology management and business management, for leading crucial global change. The IMeBM initiative was created by the partnership agreement signed in January of 2005 between the e-Business Management Section of Scuola Superiore ISUFI - University of Salento, Italy and the Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco. The objective was to build together the necessary intellectual capital to accelerate the development of the whole Mediterranean region, reduce the Digital Divide in this region, and thus, increase global competition. The partnership agreement launched the Mediterranean School of Advanced Studies in e-Business Management. PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Engineers and Change Managers who are able to create value by integrating organizational processes and digital technologies to invent new business configurations.
PARTICIPANTS Profile: Graduates in Business, Engineering or Computer Science from Italy, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia and other Mediterranean countries
Age Limit: Maximum age of 32 years old at time of application
Professional Experience: Not required, but it may be a plus
Language: The Master's program's courses and activities are taught in English, so proficiency in this language is required.
20 candidates will be admitted LEARNING STRATEGY
Competency development approach, supported by Applied Learning Laboratories, in which participants think, work and reflect together through Action Learning Projects to invent new ICT-based business configurations. FACULTY Faculty is composed of professors and researchers from Scuola Superiore ISUFI, Al Akhawayn University (AUI), University of Jordan and otherSouthern Mediterranean Countries.
INTERNSHIPS
Internship will be organized in top class organizations located in Italy, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia and other Southern Mediterranean Countries. MASTER'S PROGRAM ATTENDANCE, TUITION AND FEESDuration: 12 months full-time, including internship
Location and Starting Date: The activities of the Master's program are based on mobility between Italy (Scuola Superiore ISUFI) and other nodes of the Mediterranean School in e-Business (in Morocco, Jordan and Tunisia) and will begin in January of 2008.
Scholarships: Scholarships (full or partial) will be awarded to excellent and brilliant candidates to cover accommodation and boarding costs.
